15K?....What Was I Thinking

I ran this Kings Park race (or slow shuffle for me) in 2006. I didn't know what I was getting myself into or what I was doing.

There is an old/new Rod Stewart & The Faces song that goes something like "I wish that I knew what I know now when i was younger". Oooo-La-La

Could'a, Should'a

I ran 6 miles w/Bailey this AM. After my cool down & shower I read this article in NEWSDAY with great interest. I almost entered that race but chickened out. I have only been running on weekends (weather permitting) and I hate the treadmill. Not that I would have won, but...given the limited turnout it would have been interesting.

Motivation & My 2010 New Years Resolutions

I got this in the mail unexpectedly last week. I think it was great timing as I decided to try and make friends with the treadmill.

Ski Trip W/Thomas

I brought my cameras just to take a few pictures. However, it evolved into this little "Warren Miller" ski video.
More fun stuff.

Tom's 1st Hockey Goal

This was my 1 st. "video" using my new Mac and it remains one of my favorite for obvious reasons. Thomas wasmaybe 6 at the time and pestered us to let him play ice hockey. He attended a 1 week, ice hockey summer camp with the "playoff game" held on Friday @ 12:00 when JoAnne & I both skipped lunch and attended.

I searched the internet to learn how to transfer VHS onto disk & then rip it into the computer's iMovie program. I then added sound effects and it worked. I am now using new online software that eliminates the "evaluation copy" label, however, I have yet to do over this movie.

More fun stuff.

Stingray City in the Grand Cayman Islands

One more thing to cross off my "bucket list".

Zip Line In Labadee, Haiti

Wild windy ride. Tropical storm blew bye 2 days earlier and the remnants limited the # of riders due to wind. The stopping was the hardest part.
